3. Sentosa
The insider tip is the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa on Sentosa, a leisure island accessible via bridge only. A top argument from a security point of view. Sentosa has golf resorts (for Trump) and the Universal Studios (for Kim), providing the perfect relaxed environment for the meeting at the highest level.
Sentosa would have the added bonus of helping Singapore present itself as a resort destination. Which of course it isn’t, not least because the island is most man-made. But, in the end, the sun-fun-and-nothing-to-do atmosphere of Sentosa may actually hold the greatest appeal to the two heads of state.
