Finastra appoints a new general manager for Asia Pacific following the departure of regional managing director Imad About Haidar.
The firm internally appoints Wissam Khoury to lead the APAC business in an expanded role that makes him senior vice president and general manager for the region as well as the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
Haidar who will leave his role on September 31 this year to pursue a new opportunity. Khoury’s will start in his new role effective August 1 and will be based in both Singapore and Dubai.

Khoury will be tasked with expanding Finastra’s footprint in the region by delivering the firm’s latest innovations to the market. Solutions which the announcement highlighted include open banking, cloud solutions and Finastra’s «FusionFabric.cloud» platform.

Prior to joining Finastra, Khoury held various senior roles at banking and payments software provider across the MEA region.
