J.P. Morgan has hired a former UBS banker to co-head its equity capital markets unit for Asia ex-Japan.
Huang Peihao joins the American bank, according to a «Reuters» report citing unnamed sources, after resigning from UBS on Monday.
At J.P. Morgan, Huang is joined by Gregor Feige as the other co-head of ECM Asia ex-Japan. The bank appointed Francesco Lavatelli in October as the overall APAC ECM head.
At UBS, Huang’s role will be covered by current APAC head of capital markets Lauro Baja.
