Global asset manager Schroders has named a new Singapore chief executive and Asia Pacific head of distribution.

Lily Choh was promoted to Singapore CEO, according to a statement, to further growth in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. 

Choh succeeds Susan Soh who was in the role for the last 14 years and will now focus exclusively on her role as Asia co-CEO alongside Chris Durack and remain as a director on the board of Schroders Singapore. 

Choh was most recently Schroder’s Singapore deputy CEO, APAC head of institutional and is also a director on Schroders Singapore’s board. She will transition out of her APAC head of institutional role by year-end.

APAC Distribution

The firm also appointed Amy Cho to the newly created role of APAC head of distribution, in addition to her existing role as Hong Kong CEO, and be tasked to lead distribution across intermediary and institutional channels.

She will work closely with Choh and Durack to drive distribution across the region. Both appointments will be effective next month.
