Zurich-headquartered Julius Baer has bolstered coverage in Southeast Asia with the appointment of a former UBS private banker with a focus on the Indonesian market, finews.asia has learned.
Julius Baer appoints Stacy Wong as team head, Southeast Asia, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia, effective immediately. In the role, Wong reports to Yang Vi Sun, group head of Southeast Asia.
Wong has over 25 years of wealth management experience, most recently at UBS where she was focused on advising ultra-high net worth and high net worth clients in Indonesia for 19 years before becoming desk head for the market. Previously, she also worked as a relationship manager at Citibank Singapore.
