Insurance broker IPG Howden has hired a former Credit Suisse executive to lead its office in Singapore.
Bryan Pee joins IPG Howden as head of Singapore office, according to a statement, reporting to Benjamin Cheng, chief executive officer - Asia. In the newly created role, he is responsible for implementing strategic business plans; strengthening client servicing capabilities and supporting sales management in Singapore and Malaysia; and playing a critical role in the firm’s consultant development program.
Pee has more than a decade of financial services experience, most recently as the head of life referral business at Credit Suisse Singapore. Previously, he also worked at Bank of China, Zurich International Life, Old Mutual International and Singlife.
In 2018, Howden Broking Group UK acquired a controlling interest in IPG’s (International Planning Group) Asian and European operations through the formation of IPG Howden. Today, the insurance broker and wealth planner has a network of over 25,000 specialists in more than 100 territories worldwide, while acting as a partner to private banks, family offices, law firms and tax professionals.
