In recent months, Frankfurt-headquartered Deutsche Bank hired a handful of former Credit Suisse relationship managers in Singapore, including a managing director for Southeast Asia.
Deutsche Bank’s private banking arm appoints Ted Lim as managing director and cluster head for Southeast Asia, according to a statement, effective November. Based in Singapore, he reports to Southeast Asia market head Eleanor Lam.
Lim has 16 years of industry experience, most recently as an expert relationship manager at Credit Suisse. Previously, he also worked at BNP Paribas, American Express Bank and ABN AMRO.

In addition, the German private bank recently hired ex-Credit Suisse executives Jean Koh, Ellyn Alamsjah, Lulu Toligi and Sam Toh in Singapore, also to bolster Southeast Asia coverage.
Koh joined in September as a relationship manager with nine years of wealth management experience. Prior to that, Alamsjah (16 years of wealth management experience) joined as a managing director while Toligi (23 years) and Toh (18 years) joined as directors.
