CEO advisory firm Teneo has hired a board member of HSBC’s global insurance business for a senior Asia role.
Teneo has appointed May Knight as vice chair, Asia Pacific, according to a statement. In the role, she will work closely with the firm’s five business segments – strategy & communications, financial advisory, management consulting, people advisory and risk advisory – across regional offices in Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore and Sydney.
Knight has three decades of experience, most recently as a senior partner of global financial services at Korn Ferry in London. Since 2021, she has also served as an independent non-executive director for HSBC's global insurance business and chair of the board’s risk committee. Previously, she worked at Accenture as a merging director and Ernst & Young as a partner.
