Italian insurer Generali appointed a new chief customer officer in Asia. The banking and insurance expert has 25 years of experience in the industry.
Generali appointed Neil Gardner as chief customer officer Asia, the company said in a statement today. He will be based in Hong Kong and report to Roberto Leonardi, Generali's regional officer who joined the firm earlier this year. In the position, Gardner will be responsible for marketing and communication, digital and analytics, as well as integrating operations as part of the overall customer experience.
Gardner has over 25 years’ of experience in the banking and insurance industries. He joined the Italian firm from AIG. Prior to his time there he worked with Citi and GE Money in various Asian locations including Singapore, China and Korea, as well as in Australia.
Generali currently operates in 10 Asian markets and offers a range of solutions including Life, Property & Casualty, Corporate & Commercial and Employee Benefits to individual and corporate clients.
