Global real estate services firm JLL announced a new head of funds advisory for the Asia Pacific.

JLL has boosted its global funds advisory business with the news it has recruited the former Morgan Stanley real estate investing executive Martijn van Eldik.

His appointment is part of the company’s strategy to grow its capital raising and investment advisory capabilities globally, the firm said in a press release, and follows those of Matilde Attolico and Zeynep Fetvaci who joined JLL in July as part of the global funds advisory team out of the firm’s London office.

Prior to working at Morgan Stanley van Eldik held senior roles at ING Real Estate Investment Management and CBRE Global Investors. He started his career in the Netherlands but has spent most of his career in Asia and has in excess of 16 years of experience in real estate private fund structuring and equity capital raising.

In the new role van Eldik will be based in Singapore and report to Stuart Crow, head of Asia Pacific Capital Markets, and Attolico, head of the funds advisory team globally.
