iCapital, a global fintech firm specializing in providing wealth managers access to alternative investments, has surpassed the $200 billion mark in platform assets. With a growing presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, the company expands its global reach in private markets.

New York-based iCapital offers a platform where asset management companies can showcase their private market offerings, allowing institutional investors to invest in them.

The firm's backers include prominent financial institutions, notably UBS. «Private markets are becoming increasingly relevant for financing growing companies, as they open up new sources of capital. Therefore, it is crucial that investors gain access to these markets to benefit from the value creation that occurs outside of public markets,» said Marco Bizzozero, Head of International at iCapital and a Swiss national.

iCapital’s technology platform enables investors to navigate the complexities of alternative investments and offer tailored solutions to their clients.
