The global asset manager Aviva Investors has appointed a National Account Manager to its Australian wealth management business.
In a press release sent to finews.asiaAviva Investors named Karl Linder as National Account Manager for Australasia. Based in Melbourne, he will report to Brett Jackson, Head of Business Development, and will be responsible for helping to drive Aviva Investors in growing its Australian retail investor base.
Linder has over 16 years’ industry experience and was previously a Director at Think Financial Planners, working across personal insurance, wealth creation and retirement planning. Prior to that, Karl spent 10 years with Perpetual Investments in various senior business development roles.

The new appointment is part of Aviva Investors’ Australian expansion, following the successful launch of the Aviva Investors Multi-Strategy (AIMS) Target Return Fund in July 2015 and the company’s relocation to Melbourne’s CBD on Collins Street.
