A senior private banker with over two decades experience in wealth management and focused on the non-resident Indians has resigned from Julius Baer.

Sanjeev Premchand, a managing director with Julius Baer in Switzerland, has resigned, a source familiar with the move told finews.asia on Friday. A veteran banker, Premchand has over two decades of private banking experience, and almost fifteen with Julius Baer.

Part of a coterie of young and aggressive bankers mentored by former Julius Baer CEO Boris Collardi, Premchand focused on the non-resident Indians. The NRI business is one of the fastest-growing sources of net new money for the bank.
