PwC Singapore appoints a new leader of its asset and wealth management practice, succeeding Justin Ong who led the unit since 2006.
The firm appoints Paul Pak to the new role after having most recently led the firm’s risk, regulations and compliance team within its asset and wealth management practice.
Pak has more than 20 years of experience in wealth and asset management including various roles with PwC in Sydney, New York, London and Singapore.
«In the last 5 years, we have seen the pace of change within the asset and wealth management industry pick up and the Singapore landscape is evolving faster than ever before,» said Ong, adding that he had confidence in Pak’s appointment.
«The opportunity to lead this practice is humbling,» Pak added. «I look forward to working with the team to build upon the vision, success and solid foundation, and importantly help our clients navigate and maximise the opportunities in the exciting era to come.»
