The global asset manager promoted its APAC head of institutional to the newly created role to further bolster its Southeast Asia business.

Lily Choh was named deputy chief executive, effective immediately, and will also join the board of Schroder Investment Management (Singapore) as a director.

Choh will retain her role as APAC head of institutional and her responsibilities for leading distribution teams in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. She continues to report to Susan Soh, country head of Singapore and co-head of Asia Pacific, who was newly appointed to the role last week alongside Chris Durack.

Choh joined Schroders in 2008 as its Singapore head of institutional before also taking on responsibilities to head distribution for the aforementioned country markets. She was appointed as the APAC head of institutional in 2019.
