Swiss Re will accelerate growth in India with the appointment of a new client market head of its life and health business.
Sunayana Mahansaria has been named as head of client markets life and health India at the reinsurance giant, according to a statement, effective as of today.
In her Mumbai-based role, Sunayana will lead the life and health business with a focus on developing «differentiated future-ready solutions for insurers», reporting to India market head Hadi Riachi.

Sunayana brings over a decade of leadership and actuarial experience across India's reinsurance and direct insurance sectors. In her previous roles, she was responsible for developing customized solutions focused on client management and business development.
«Heightened awareness of the need for insurance protection and shifting consumer preferences for digitalized experience have created huge opportunities for insurers to address this rising demand in India,» said Riachi.
