London-headquartered asset manager M&G hires a former Franklin Templeton executive to lead its intermediary business out of Hong Kong.
Joseph Wong joins M&G as Hong Kong head of intermediary channels, according to a statement. In the newly created role, Wong reports to Berny Lin, Asia ex-Japan head of distribution.
Wong has over 20 years of financial experience and was most recently with Franklin Templeton Investments where he spent over ten years in the Hong Kong office developing business across the wholesale network including private banks, retail banks, insurance companies, independent financial advisors and investment platforms in Hong Kong and China.
He previously worked for AIG, Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Shanghai Commercial Bank.
