Credit Suisse hires a former investment banker from Macquarie with a focus on Indonesia, finews.asia has learned.
Credit Suisse hired Kusnadi Pradinata as its co-head of Indonesia investment banking and capital makes (IBCM) coverage, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia, alongside fellow co-head Sandri Supardi.
In his new Jakarta-based role, Pradinata reports to Southeast Asia and frontier markets IBCM co-heads Rehan Anwer and Pankaj Goel as well as Southeast Asia IBCM vice-chairman and Indonesia country head Rizal Gozali.
Pradinata has over 16 years of experience and has completed $25 billion of transactions, primarily for Indonesian clients. He was most recently with Macquarie and previously also worked with both buy-side and sell-side firms including Nomura, Carlyle, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley.
Southeast Asia Reshuffle
In addition, the bank has also appointed Han Ping Lee as co-head of Malaysia IBCM coverage, alongside Mia Idora, reporting to Anwer and Goel. Lee joined Credit Suisse in 2011 from CIMB Investment Bank.
Singapore-based Shaun Wu was named the lead for general industries coverage in Southeast Asia and frontier markets reporting to the market’s head of energy, industrials and infrastructure coverage Aaron Tan. Wu joined Credit Suisse in 2015.
A spokesperson for the bank confirmed the contents of the memo.
