The Asia chief executive officer of Canada’s RBC Wealth Management has left the bank, finews.asia has learned.
Terence Chow has left RBC Wealth Management in his role as Hong Kong-based CEO of Asia, sources told finews.asia. It is not known if a successor has been found but one of the bank’s websites featuring the Asia leadership team does not include Chow, nor a new regional CEO. A website of Chow’s profile at RBC also no longer exists.
Chow spent 18 years with RBC, having first joined the Canadian bank’s Toronto office in 2005 as a senior business analyst in its capital markets unit. He would move on to the wealth management arm in 2015 as head of operations for Canada before becoming the Asia CEO in 2019.
A spokesperson for the bank could not be reached for comment.
