The asset management arm of Paris-based BNP Paribas has announced the appointment of a president director for Indonesia.
BNP Paribas Asset Management appoints Maya Kamdani as president director of PT. BNP Paribas Asset Management in Indonesia, according to a statement. Based in Jakarta, she reports to Hong Kong-based Mike Nikou, APAC CEO of BNP Paribas Asset Management.
In the role, Kamdani succeeds Priyo Santoso, who has retired from the French asset manager to pursue interests outside of BNP Paribas.
Kamdani is a veteran in the financial services industry with 25 years of experience in Indonesia and the US. She joined BNP Paribas Asset Management’s Indonesia unit in 2008 and was appointed deputy president director last January while retaining her role as head of marketing.
