Also attending the festival Yuriko Koike who has been the Governor of Tokyo since July 2016. Koike, who was a prominent news anchor before entering politics, is keen to raise the profile of Tokyo as a financial and fintech hub.

She will be joined by another high profile visitor Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands (pictured below) who has served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA) since 2009.
