Financial services firm State Street raided a U.S. competitor to fill a senior role in China.
State Street Corporation named Lisa Lou country head of global services China and general manager of its Beijing branch, the firm said in a note seen by finews.asia.
Based in Beijing, Lou will manage State Street’s global services business in the country and lead the firm’s China strategy. She will report to Richard Fogarty, senior vice president and head of global services North Asia.
Before joining State Street, Lou worked at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank China, where she was head of financial institutions and public sector clients for China and general manager of its Beijing branch.
Prior to that she held a number of senior management roles in Standard Chartered Bank China and HSBC Australia covering various client segments and product lines.
