1. Liechtenstein and Bank Frick
The «blockchain act» has certainly opened the door for crypto startups in Liechtenstein. The biggest advantage Liechtenstein has over its neighbor is that a company listing in the Principality eases expansion into the EU. In addition, as is the case in Zug, favorable tax laws are another attraction for startups.
To date the Principality’s market regulator has received some 100 inquiries from blockchain- and other companies in the cryptocurrency sector. Bank Frick is another jewel in the Liechtenstein crown. It accepts cryptocurrencies and has thus become the first address for business accounts from Swiss crypto and blockchain startups.
