Nuvest Capital, a Singaporean external asset manager, founded by ex-GIC head of investment strategy Aje Saigal, has added its flagship Real Return multi-asset strategy to the Strategy Data Exchange.
Nuvest Capital’s strategy replicates the same investment principles developed by Aje Saigal while he was Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Global Equities and Director of Investment Policy and Strategy for the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), the nation-state's sovereign wealth fund, according to a release on Friday.
The addition of the Real Return strategy to the SDX platform provides investors with access to the strategy as a structured product, commingled fund, or separately managed account (SMA). Investors will now have access to a global multi-asset class portfolio approach used by one of the world’s largest and most successful sovereign wealth funds.
Similar Strategy
«My goal when I left GIC was to provide a similar strategy to all investors worldwide,» said Saigal. «SDX gives Nuvest exceptional distribution across the investment banks, private banks, and third-party manufacturers. Our goal of inclusion for all investors is now becoming a reality.»
SoHo’s SDX platform is the region’s largest secure manager model library. SDX has over 75 of APAC’s largest sponsors and provides model managers the opportunity to distribute their strategies across the range including the world’s largest investment banks and largest social media platforms.
SDX is based in Singapore, recognized as one of the world’s most innovative nations for Fintech, led by the country’s central bank and regulator the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
