To support growth in the region, the company has brought on board a senior executive with deep knowledge and experience in the financial industry in Asia.
Horizon Software, a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) electronic trading solutions and algorithmic technology, has named Emmanuel Faure as head of sales APAC.
Based in Hong Kong, Faure will build on the company's growth momentum and further establish Horizon’s foothold in the region in the region, the company said in the announcement.
Horizon Software provides financial institutions with a low-latency, scalable platform supporting all trading businesses related to listed markets, with clients like Vontobel, HSBC and Credit Suisse. According to the company, its Asian business is seen significant growth since the start of the year, with new major banks, brokers and exchanges added to its client list.
Deep Experience
Prior to joining Horizon, Faure served in various management positions for 14 years at Fimat, a global brokerage organization and part of Société General group in Japan and Hong Kong.
He was also managing director of Futures APAC at Newedge, HSBC Futures, Jefferies HK, and Ned Davis Research.
