So far this year, the German lender has made around 30 hires from Standard Chartered for its private bank.
Deutsche Bank has added nine Standard Chartered bankers to its team catering to wealthy clients in China and Hong Kong, «Bloomberg« reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The hires, made in the past few months, follow the appointment of Boris Kwok – an 18-year veteran of Standard Chartered – earlier this year as Group Head, North Asia, with a focus in China. Along with Kwok, DBWM also brought in 20 other front-facing wealth management professionals, six of whom are directors.
