The firm's new head of client markets, Hong Kong and Taiwan succeeds Xinmei Zhang, who will leave Swiss Re after 13 years at the firm.
Swiss Re has announced the appointment of Anna Lee as head of client markets, Hong Kong and Taiwan, effective 1 September 2021, according to a statement on Wednesday.
Lee is currently Swiss Re's head of new business development for property and casualty (P&C) reinsurance SID, focused on building and developing new business opportunities in the region. She will continue to hold that role concurrently with her new appointment.
She brings a deep knowledge of the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets, having held several leadership roles since joining the company in 2003, including head of P&C reinsurance for Hong Kong and Taiwan, head of P&C business services for Asia.
