Paris-based Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking has formed a strategic alliance with a Korean bank after opening its securities branch in Seoul last year.

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (Natixis CIB) has signed a strategic alliance agreement with Korea’s Woori Bank at a ceremony held in Paris, according to a statement. The alliance will involve cooperation on global private debt funds and direct lending activities with the potential to develop the scope across other key areas of synergy.

«The joint expertise of Natixis CIB and Woori Bank will provide the means to enhance our global private debt capabilities and to finance projects and corporates globally,» said global head of Natixis CIB Mohamed Kallala.

Market Commitment

In 2023, Natixis CIB opened its securities branch in Seoul and the latest move marks a further commitment to its long-term strategy of expanding its offering and client base in the Korean market through partnerships with selective and diversified expertise.
