New Fintech Accelerator Set for Southeast Asia

Global data giant Experian and the Singapore Fintech Association have joined forces to launch a powerful new accelerator program designed to identify and scale high-potential fintechs across the region.

Experian, a global leader in data, analytics, and technology, has announced a partnership with the Singapore Fintech Association (SFA) to fuel fintech innovation throughout Southeast Asia.

The initiative merges Experian’s expertise in decisioning and analytics with SFA’s deep industry network, creating a platform for emerging companies to thrive.

Focus on Scalable, Cloud-Native Solutions

The program will spotlight fintechs delivering practical solutions in areas such as eKYC/eKYB, digital onboarding, alternative data scoring, and open banking.

By targeting cloud-native and scalable technologies, the partners aim to tackle some of the region’s most pressing financial challenges.

Timeline for Acceleration

The initiative officially kicks off on 8 September 2025 with an information session. Applications will open in September, with one to three finalists selected in October.

These companies will then move into partnership discussions and go-to-market activities, with final results to be unveiled in April 2026.

Opportunities for High-Potential Fintechs

Eligible participants must be international fintechs with a presence in Singapore and proven product-market fit. Preference will be given to early-stage firms with traction and alignment to Experian’s strengths.

Selected partners will gain access to Experian’s vast client base, commercial collaboration opportunities, and enhanced visibility through joint marketing.

Leaders Highlight Importance of Collaboration

Kabir Khanna, General Manager of Experian Credit Services Singapore, stressed the impact of the program: «This partnership with SFA is more than just a collaboration – it’s a commitment to nurturing the next wave of FinTech innovation in Southeast Asia.»

SFA President Holly Fang echoed his words: «This initiative reflects our shared belief in the power of ecosystem collaboration to drive innovation and impact. We see this program as a launchpad for FinTechs to gain visibility, validate their solutions, and build lasting partnerships that can transform the financial services landscape in the region.»
