Katherine Lai has been hired by Standard Chartered's private bank as the new head of client services and change delivery, a source told finews.asia. Her departure from Deutsche Bank, where she was operating chief for the German lender's private bank in north Asia, was reported exclusively by finews.asia last month.
At the time of her departure, Lai had been categorical in her praise and support of Lok Yim, Deutscheis head of wealth management in Asia and her former boss. Deutsche is expected to announce Lai’s successor shortly.
