The American asset manager names the new head of Hong Kong and Singapore’s wealth management business, replacing Todd Staley who will be returning to the U.S. for a new role within the firm.
Marcio Bogoricin has been named the successor as PIMCO’s new head of Hong Kong and Singapore, global wealth management, according to a statement. Bogoricin will be responsible for covering relationships across private banks, retail banks and family offices.
Bogoricin moved to Asia in 2018 and has been since leading PIMCO’s family office efforts in the two offshore financial hubs with a particular focus on alternatives. Bogoricin joined PIMCO in 2010 and prior to relocating to Asia, he was an account manager on the Latin America team covering institutional clients, also with a focus on family offices and alternative investments.
Return to U.S.
Staley joined PIMCO in 2011 and before his return to the U.S., he previously held various senior roles including head of Singapore office, head of Hong Kong institutional and head of Taiwan before being appointed to the dual wealth head role in mid-2018.
