U.S. index provider MSCI has named a new head of Asia Pacific client coverage based in Japan.
MSCI has promoted Kazuya Nagasawa as head of APAC client coverage, according to a statement, succeeding former regional head Jack Lin who will leave the firm to pursue other opportunities.
In his new Tokyo-based role, Nagasawa reports to Alvise Munari, global head of client coverage.
Nagasawa was most recently MSCI's head of North Asia client coverage, a role he held since 2012.
