Following the departure of Simon Lue-Fong, Pictet Asset Management has appointed a new head of emerging debt.
Mary-Thérèse Barton joined the firm in 2004 and has been a senior investment manager for ten years. Barton attended Oxford University where she gained a BA degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
She started her career with Dun & Bradstreet where she worked as an economist for western European markets. At Pictet her latest role was analyst for the emerging fixed income markets for emerging debts, the company confirmed.
It was not revealed whether Simon Lue-Fong intends to stay within the industry.
