HSBC Private Bank says it has appointed a veteran banker as co-market head in Hong Kong.
HSBC Private Bank appointed Rachel Wei as co-market Head, Hong Kong. Working together with Annie Kwok, the other Co-Market Head, Hong Kong, she will develop client relationships and enhance collaboration with the bank's other businesses.
Wei will report to Ivan Wong, co-head of North Asia.
Moved From Commercial Banking
Prior to the appointment, Wei was head of global trade and receivables Finance, Hong Kong and Macau, managing HSBC's largest trade centre and leading a team for customer solutions. Before that, she managed commercial banking relationships in Hong Kong for over two decades.
