Singapore-based GoBear appointed a country director for Singapore coming from banking giant Citibank where she implemented digital acquisition strategies for their Europe and Asia Pacific regions to drive growth.
Asia’s metasearch engine in insurance and banking, GoBear, has appointed Thuyly Abecassis (pictured above) as the country director for Singapore, taking over from Pam Chuang, who moves to her new role as vice president of regional partnerships and sales.
Thuyly started her career in digital and sales in Paris, France, nearly 20 years ago. Her career achievements include bringing one of the world’s oldest companies online – establishing ecommerce for Disneyland Resorts Paris. As head of global digital and sales at Allianz Insurance, she influenced their strategic change of priorities from B2B to B2C. She joins GoBear fresh from banking giant Citibank.
In her role as Singapore country director, Abecassis wants to shape the team’s 2019 strategy, focusing on growing the business, while making sure GoBear continues to delight users through its exciting core and new products.
