Julius Baer is pressing on with its aggressive push in the private banking market in the U.K. The Swiss bank has made a series of senior hires.

Julius Baer private bank added eight relationship managers to its existing team in the U.K. Seven of those are going to work in London, the bank said in an emailed statement. Louise Chester will work from Leeds and cater to clients and families based in Yorkshire.

In London, Julius Baer hired Michelle White, Anthony Birkbeck, Renaud Billard, Sean Gallagher, Charlotte Thomas, Oksana Torbych and Aziza Ramos.

Julius Baer started the push in 2017, opening branches in Manchester, Leeds and in Glasgow, catering to the Scottish market. The bank also hired a team in Belfast.
