Swiss Re is poaching an expert in digital transformation from German insurer Allianz.
The Zurich-based reinsurer is hiring Youngran Kim as its technology chief, it said on Thursday. The role was created especially for Kim, who joins from April 1. The Korean native will move from Singapore to Zurich for the job.
She is currently Allianz's information technology boss in Asia-Pacific, a role she already held at her previous employer, Axa. Kim is a specialist in cloud transformation and insurance-related process engineering and mining.
