UBS' Rene Buehlmann took a sabbatical last year and wanted to return and take another job within the bank. Now, the former head of asset management in Asia as left UBS, finews.asia can reveal.
UBS' Rene Buehlmann has left the bank earlier this year, a spokesperson confirmed. The 28-year veteran of the Swiss bank took a sabbatical early last year and planned to take another job within UBS when he returned.
Buehlmann has already been replaced by Raymond Yin (pictured above), a veteran of Goldman Sachs who joined Swiss-based UBS by the end of 2018 as head of China in asset management. The switch came as UBS pushed forcefully into China in asset management. Yin is also a member of the UBS' top Asian management, reporting to regional head Edmund Koh.
