He replaces Jeff Vibert, who has led the firm since 2018 and the audit practice since the firm's establishment in 2015.  Vibert has retired and will be moving back to his native Australia.

Business and financial services advisor Grant Thornton Singapore has named David Sandison, currently head of tax, as its new territory practice leader, a concurrent appointment, the firm announced on Wednesday.

Sandison joined the firm in July 2019 to head up the Tax practice, after spending five years running his own boutique international tax practice. He previously had a 35-year career in international tax with a big four accounting firm in London, Melbourne and Singapore. As part of hs role as had of tax, he helps multinational clients structure and manage their cross-border business operations from a tax perspective, as well as from a commercial and practical perspective.
