A former McKinsey senior partner will serve as co-head for the Asia Pacific region alongside managing director Adam Watson and report to CEO Arjun Raghavan.

Global outsourced investment office (OCIO) Partners Capital has announced an expansion of its global leadership team with the appointment of Emmanuel Pitsilis as a managing director and co-head of Asia.

Based in Singapore, Pitsilis will work closely with Watson and Dominik Burckgard, head of the firm's Hong Kong office, to deepen the firm's capabilities in offering blue-chip regional and global investment solutions for its worldwide client base, according to an announcement on Wednesday.

Wealth of Experience

Pitsilis brings over 25 years of experience in APAC as an investor and leader in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Partners Capital, he was an entrepreneur and early-stage venture investor focused on B2B SaaS and fintech in Asia.

He also spent over 20 years at McKinsey & Company, mostly in Hong Kong, where he was a senior partner in the financial services practice focused on building its Asian practice.

Well-Positioned

Partners Capital serves both prominent not-for-profit institutions and private clients, predominantly senior members of private equity firms, across Europe, North America, and Asia. It oversees an excess of $38 billion, the company said.

Founded in 2001, Partners Capital has seven offices globally and saw a successful CEO transition last year from founder Stan Miranda to Arjun Raghavan, who founded the Asia business for the firm 10 years ago.
