EFG
Historically, a «ruyi» is a curved decorative object that is believed to have first served as a ceremonial scepter before it would go on to frequently appear as a motif throughout Asian arts and culture. During Chinese New Year, this image is most visible in the form of decorative knots that symbolize success and good fortune.
EFG’s lai sees this year feature the ruyi knot design using broached patterns hot stamped and embossed in gold and red. Also accompanying this is a soft satin pouch with bright floral patterns on the flap.
Indosuez Wealth Management
Indosuez drew inspiration from two auspicious elements for its red packets: a pair of twin goldfish, as a symbol of abundance and fortune, swimming within the number 8, a lucky numerical figure in Chinese culture.
Each envelope features a delicate hot stamped die-cut design on textured paper with an accompanying insert. The premium package includes a deluxe box and a fabric pouch. And to top it all off with a personal touch, a message is included from Indosuez Asia CEO Omar Shokur.
J. Safra Sarasin
J. Safra Sarasin celebrates the Lunar New Year with lai sees featuring the rabbit with a colorful background of blooming flowers and hints of gold embossment. The envelopes come in long and short forms in an elegantly designed box set.
