The investment management company is entering the Thai market by way of a strategic partnership.
Fidelity International will join up with Krungthai Bank as a strategic partner in the area of product and services, according to an announcement sent Wednesday.
Through the partnership, Fidelity will support Krungthai Bank in delivering investment products and providing views on asset allocation, while sharing insights and market commentary on the latest macro-economic views, performance views, and fund recommendations. It will also develop education and training in investment and portfolio management.
Southeast Asia has been a priority for Fidelity, said managing director APAC ex-Japan Rajeev Mittal. «This strategic partnership allows us to bring Fidelity’s decades of investment management experience to one of the fastest-growing economies in the region,» he said.
