J.P. Morgan Private Bank has hired a former Credit Suisse executive to lead its trust unit in Singapore.
Koh Bee Eng was named head of J.P. Morgan Trust Company (Singapore) Pte, according to a statement, reporting to head of international trust & estates Martin Pollock.
Koh will be responsible for leading the trust company’s growth plans and strategy while partnering with J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s wealth advisors and bankers.
Koh has more than 20 years of experience in the trust industry and was most recently trust center resident manager and director of Credit Suisse Trust Limited in Singapore. Previously, she also worked for Standard Chartered Trust (Singapore) Limited and Rothschild Trust (Singapore) Limited.

J.P. Morgan’s latest addition marks yet another hire from Credit Suisse which continues to recover from the collapses of Greensill and Archegos.
Within Asia, other ex-Credit Suisse executives who have recently resurfaced include Carinn Neo who joined wealth manager Paragon Capital Management Singapore as its lead portfolio manager and Lillian Liao who joined Citi Private Bank as a global market head for China.
