The UBS Board of Directors will be added to next year. The nominee will bring decades of experience of technological developments in the financial services sector.
UBS has nominated Jeremy Anderson for election to the Board of UBS Group AG at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 3 May 2018 and for election to the Board of UBS AG. Anderson has a global network and decades of experience in the financial services industry, UBS President Axel Weber was quoted as saying in a statement.
Anderson has recently been replaced as chairman of KPMG's Global Financial Services Practices, a position he has held for the past seven years. At KPMG, he had previously led the Financial Services Practice in the U.K., later in Europe, and from 2010, global business for this division.
Risk Management and Regulation
Anderson's focus throughout his career has been on technological developments, particularly the modernization of banking systems and operations. Anderson was also a sponsor of the KPMG Global Fintech Network. He also has expertise in auditing, risk management and regulatory issues.
