Swiss banking giant UBS moved on rival Credit Suisse to snap up a banker to run its South Korean business.
Byungil Lim, a former Credit Suisse investment banker will take over the reigns at UBS in Seoul next week, according to industry publication «Global Capital Asia.»
The publication claims UBS recruited Lim (pictured) to take on the roles of head of corporate client solutions South Korea, as well as becoming its country head and and co-branch manager of UBS in Seoul.
Before making the move to the hometown Swiss rival, Lim was co-head of Credit Suisse Securities' South Korea Branch. He was at Credit Suisse for over 13 years and was an associate at Lehman Brothers prior to that.
