Credit Suisse added two new hires in Singapore as investment strategists, poaching from Bank of Singapore and from an Aussie rival.
Zurich-based Credit Suisse said it is hiring Eddy Loh as a senior investment strategist, as well as Julian Wee as an investment strategist. Loh and Wee will be based in Singapore and report to John Woods, the Swiss bank's investment chief in Asia, Credit Suisse said in a press release.
Loh was poached from Bank of Singapore, where he was part of the bank's investment counsel. He has also held roles at Barclays, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch and DBS. Wee joins from National Australia Bank, where he covered Asian currencies; previously, he worked at now-defunct BSI Bank.
