Temenos, a global software firm, has appointed a new chief executive officer. Following the replacement of the top executive, the company also decided on a broader reshuffle of its management team.
Max Chuard, the chief financial officer of Temenos, will replace CEO David Arnott in March. Arnott will leave the Swiss-based company to devote more time to his family, according to a statement by the company.
Panagiotis «Takis» Spiliopoulos, the current head of IB Research and senior analyst at Vontobel private bank, will assume the responsibilities of Chuard in April.
Spiliopoulos spent 17 years at the IB Research unit of Vontobel in Zurich, ten years of which as its head. Peter Romanzina (pictured above), the head of Vontobel’s IB Brokerage, will take over from his colleague as head of IB Research.
Veteran Promotions at Temenos
Over at Temenos, the change of guard won’t stop at the CEO and CFO positions. The company said that Alexa Guenoun, chief client officer, was promoted to the executive board. She’s been with the firm for a dozen years and used to be in charge of French-speaking markets.
Jean-Michel Hilsenkopf, another veteran Temenos manager, was appointed chief operating officer. He so far was acting chief revenue officer. Hilsenkopf has been with Temenos since its early days in 1993. Since last year, the French citizen has been a member of the executive board.
With the changes among the management team, Temenos also reported earnings for 2018. The software company increased profit by almost a quarter to $220 million.
