The investor services group is hiring a business development director in the territory to build its network and win new clients across Greater China and the wider East Asia region.
IQ-EQ has announced the appointment of Kenny Yeung as its new Hong Kong-based business development director, who will help maximize the organic growth of the group’s alternative funds business, the firm said on Tuesday.
Yeung has 18 years of professional experience in the management consulting, private equity and financial services sectors, 12 of which have been focused on sales and business development of financial services products.
He joins IQ-EQ from international fiduciary and financial services provider Vistra, where he was commercial director. Before that, he was an associate director focused on Asia-Pacific business development for international offshore law firm Harneys.

Earlier this year, IQ-EQ hired Peter Golovsky as its Hong Kong-based managing director to drive growth in the region with a focus on entrepreneurs, family business and family offices.
