The U.S.-based investment bank and financial services company has made two new senior appointments, including its first in APAC.
Cowen is expanding the services and coverage it provides to its prime brokerage and outsourced trading clients in Asia Pacific with the appointment of Amy Cheung as vice president in Hong Kong, according to an announcement on Wednesday.
Cheung joins the company after three years working in investor relations and business development at hedge fund Bright Stream Capital Management, and previously spent six years as a sales manager for hedge funds and family offices at Bloomberg.
Expanding Global Coverage
Daniel McGlinn also joins the team as vice president at its San Francisco office, after six years at PNC Asset Management, The global capital introduction team now comprises eight executives, with additional hires planned over the next couple of years, Cowen said.

The team provides clients with a range of products and services including access to hedge fund allocators, peer group analyses, pitch review and refinement, and the opportunity to attend high value allocator events.
