Andrew Wong is joining the French bank as a managing director and head of China, a source told finews.asia. A career banker, Wong is expected to inherit considerable legacy clients of the French major, which has made a name for itself with Hong Kong tycoons as well as mainland clients.
He replaces Alfred Tsai, a well-known private banker who defected to Swiss bank Union Bancaire Privé as part of their senior management in the region in August, as finews.asia reported exclusively.
